Pearls of the Polish Economy
The Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences together with the publishing house "Polish Market" Ltd. that publishes a monthly English-speaking magazine "Polish Market" annually prepares a special ranking of Polish companies entitled "Pearls of Polish Economy". The ranking includes companies whose revenue from all business activities during a given year amounted to at least 100 million PLN (Pearls Large) or 1 billion PLN (Grand Pearls). These are also companies that meet the following criteria adopted by the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences:
- Income dynamics
- Sales Profitability
- Debt
- The rate of return on gross assets
- Net rate of return on equity
- Labor productivity
